The story of Enso
Enso.
Enso, a sacred symbol in Zen Buddhism, signifies a circle or a circle of togetherness. Drawn usually with a single brushstroke, it serves as a meditative exercise, encouraging the release of the mind and the uninhibited expression of the body.
Still, it's mathematically impossible to draw a perfect circle, meaning that with every piece there is an infinite space for growth. The single brushstroke exposes the artist's essence with the vulnerability of an inevitable failure.
The result, an incomplete circle, yet the very imperfections, variations and inconsistencies that prevent the creation of a perfect circle are what make the enso so beautifully whole.
